High-speed train washing installation

Rail companies like to offer their customers clean carriages, but sometimes there is not enough time to thoroughly clean them. It is indeed not always easy to simply take a train out of service to wash it. DiBO Project(s) worked together with NedTrain to come up with a solution: a high-speed train washing installation (HS-TWI).

The DiBO HS-TWI can wash the sides of locomotives and carriages at a high speed (up to 20 km/hour). At this higher speed washing is a little less intensive, but this is compensated by the fact that the carriages can be washed a number of times without appreciable loss of time! 

After a successful test case in Zwolle, DiBO Project(s) installed the first HV-TWI in Enschede in 2016. Then followed further similar installations in The Hague, Leidschendam, ...
