Loco washer
Washing locomotives is a very specialised technique. Many parts of the locomotive deviate from the more or less standard shapes of passenger trains. Moreover, there are parts, like the engine compartments, where the use of water and cleansing agents should be reduced to a minimum in order to prevent damage to the locomotive.
For this DiBO has different techniques available, which vary from brush wash installations and high pressure cleaning systems to combinations of high pressure brushes and rotating washing heads.
The DiBO PBH 3000 H special is a very interesting solution with an expansion for a Teach-in system which allows for the washing programmes to be programmed in “dry” condition. These washing programmes can later be chosen from the database and thus the locomotive is washed fully automatically.
Technical equipment is mounted on location or in pre-mounted technical containers.
