In Trebnje, a city to the south-east of Slovenia, a new DiBO self-service car wash recently opened its doors. It is also the first DiBO car wash installation in Slovenia. This concerns a DiBO NEW 2000 with operating totems integrated in the building’s support columns (type D4). The operating totems and the technical installation were supplied by DiBO and installed on-site by our Slovenian dealer BARGROUP.
The car wash with its location next to the Mercator Shopping Centre features five covered washing spaces with one outdoors. In the middle there is the technical room in which all machinery, appliances and storage tanks are assembled. The control panels are made of intruder-proof and touch-sensitive glass. Customers can pay contactless with a payment system that works with Near Field Communication (NFC).
No fewer than six wash programs are available, including the DiBO high foaming foam system. Here a foam lance is used to apply a very airy and adhesive foam to the car for a squeaky clean washing result. Customers can also choose from: brush wax, shampoo, rinse, hot wax and gloss rinse with osmosis water.
Preventing frost problems
Underfloor heating and a closed hot water frost protection system even allow washing in freezing temperatures. This is no unnecessary luxury in a place where the thermometer hardly gets above freezing point during the winter period.
Noteworthy: this is also the first carwash to be fully heated with a heat pump, one of the most sustainable ways to supply heat.
