New DiBO Berlin bus washing installation for Dutch transport company Qbuzz

A new and complete electrical bus station was recently manufactured in Dordrecht for Dutch transport company Qbuzz, that since December 2018 has been providing bus transport in the Drechtsteden, Molenlanden and Gorinchem concession area.  There DiBO Project(s) took responsibility for the installation of a DiBO Berlin bus washing installation, including technical space.

The DiBO Berlin is a simple to operate and very low-maintenance bus and truck washing installation. The installation is fitted as standard with an ultra-compact and fast programmable logic controller (PLC). The Berlin is also fully assembled in stainless steel to guarantee maximum reliability and a long working life.

The installation was installed on a modular, sustainable and impermeable composite ECOseals floor. This low-maintenance floor can be laid in one day, as distinct from concrete that requires 28 days to harden.

“The settings of the Berlin have been adapted so the Qbuzz electric buses can easily drive through. The drivers can clean their vehicles by single-button operation. Mirror protection has been installed so no damage is caused during washing. Account was also taken of the pantograph, the current collector with which power is drawn from the overhead line.”, explains Jeroen de Fijnaaart, technical sales manager at DiBO Project(s).
